After studying Furniture Design & Manufacture at GMIT Letterfrack, Cian set out to create a business unlike any other - Magill Woodcraft Ireland. Specialising in handmade, personalised wooden gifts - he focused on uniqueness, beautiful design, & quality craftsmanship. Each piece Cian creates is a one-of-a-kind, & made from local Galway hardwood.

His most-loved pieces are his Wooden Maps of Ireland. Personalised with the recipient's native townland (or anything required), these are the perfect gift for your loved-ones - especially those of Irish heritage! Handcrafted from beautiful Galway Sycamore that lived since the c.1940s.
With his Dad a carpenter in the film industry, & Mum a commercial artist, creative inspiration was never short. Cian loved the idea of self-employment, & strived for a truly unique, honest brand. This certainly runs in the family, as far back as Cian's great-grandmother - who started various Dublin-based businesses in the 1920's.
