The Seaward is the mid-range option. It contains red and white wines exclusive to us
from the Kanu boutique vineyard in Stellenbosch near Capetown. The Cabernet
Sauvignon is a classic red, redolent with plums, cherries and cedar wood. There are hints of vanilla and black pepper in this variety. One to try or to keep by, it will be
good from now until 2030. Trust us. The Viognier is a less known white variety. It is medium gold, oaky with notes of honeysuckle, rose and tangerine. The subtle hints of grated nutmeg and clove make this a rich, rewarding tipple. It will adore being paired with fish and duck. Think of the sensory delight of washing your hands in hot water with good soap after working and you will see why we chose the Black Stuff for their pine-tar soap. We couldn’t resist the Black Stuff unisex deodorant, either. Made by hand with only natural ingredients, they are a cut above the ubiquitous. There is also a handmade Wasi handcrafted soap with seaweed (truly a national treasure) and fragrant Lemongrass and Ginger. Get rid of the shower gel and go back to soap and water. Your skin, and the planet will thank you.
